Thursday I spent a few hours with the Fleet Manager of a large aviation company in PNG who came to have a look at our facilities and what sort training we can offer for PNG Nationals.

He had only just left when the CEO of said company called for details. I talked to him for about fifteen minutes and he concluded that we have a lot to offer for a PNG Cadet that he wants to send down for training. I promised to send further details in an e-mail and encouraged him to get a report from his fleet manager who had just visited. We talked through what makes our course stand out from a 'normal' pilot course, and also the risks we have identified to the succesful progress of a PNG student and how we will mitigate these. I was helped by some good effort the team had put in previously figuring these things out.
